The Norwalk Police Department is proud to partner with @peaceloveaccessibility to help educate the public about accessibility and advocate for full inclusion.

As part of this effort, our officers have been provided with Accessible Parking Courtesy Notices. These are being issued to help raise awareness about common violations, including:

• Expired placards

• Lifetime placards no longer valid in CT

• Parking in cross-hatched lines that block ramp access vehicles

• Parking without a proper placard

Our department is committed to ensuring that all motorists follow Connecticut’s accessible parking laws so that everyone in our community can get where they need to go safely and with dignity.
